Like many of Katarzyna Kobro’s sculptures, Abstract Sculpture 3 was lost when she, with her husband Władysław Strzemiński, fled Nazi occupation to Poland’s Eastern territories. This image is of a reproduction created in 1972 by Bolesław Utkin, one of Strzemiński’s students.
