The Gates of Hell is an Impressionist, Bronze Sculpture created by François Auguste René Rodin from 1880 to 1890. It lives at the Rodin Museum in Paris. The image is used according to Educational Fair Use, and tagged Hell, The Divine Comedy, and Gates.
The bronze cast of the Gates of Hell were never cast during Rodin's lifetime. This one located at the Musee de Rodin was cast in 1925 along with another which lives at the Philadephia Rodin Musuem.
